WWE Rumours Options

The Ronda Rousey-to-WWE rumors are heating up once again. It seems like the WWE has stuck to their guns; the probable main event for the WrestleMania 34 event will feature a rematch clash between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. Several weeks ago, Roman Reigns defeated The Miz to become the Intercontinental Champion for the first time in his career.

Despite his hectic Hollywood schedule, Batista has recently expressed his desire to return, even making the claim that he was talking to Vince about coming back on a full-time schedule which would include live events as well. The Miz regained the Intercontinental Championship this past Monday on Raw when he defeated Roman Reigns.

As for those WWE rumors, PWInsider reports Patron was at WWE headquarters in Stamford last week and met with Vince McMahon. Leading up to this weekend's WWE Royal Rumble, one giant question has loomed over wrestling fans. Lesnar and Reigns both soak up a fair amount of boos from the fans, regardless of what they do, with Reigns taking the brunt of it week in week out.

However, Wrestle Zone reported on Sunday that Hogan's latest boasts seem to have a little meat behind it. Hogan appeared in Australia for a press conference and said that he asked for a final WWE retirement match at WrestleMania 32 in Dallas, Texas, and Vince McMahon agreed to the idea.

It's hard to argue that most of the fan interest at WrestleMania will be fixed around Daniel Bryan's much-anticipated in-ring return. It's been confirmed that The Miz will receive a rematch for the IC Title during Raw‘s 25th-anniversary show. Either Lesnar re-signed WWE News with WWE or he'll drop the Universal Title tomorrow night on Raw.

COOKING WITH GAS: Bryan can go, he's in a match against Shane McMahon at 'Mania. With Brock as the dominant Universal Champion for a year and Roman as the top tier babyface, all of this seems to be the perfect WWE formula in booking the rematch. - Wrestling Observer says Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar is set to close WrestleMania 34.

Bryan has expressed interest in returning to the ring and if it's not in a WWE ring, he'll do so elsewhere. There has been talk that the pair would face Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in a mixed tag match, pitting two of the most recognizable names globally against WWE's power couple.

McGregor is expected to make his return to the Octagon at UFC 219 in December, with White keen for him to face interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson. WrestleMania 31 was the last time Cena had a title match at the show when he defeated Rusev for the United States Championship.

A lot of fans read that segment as Roman Reigns being intentionally smug and arrogant in a way that clearly reflects villainous behavior and that was meant to troll the crowd and signal a heel turn. WWE WrestleMania 34 on Sunday, April 8 and the event's start time is 7pm ET (4pm PT).

Maybe Shane oversteps and puts HIMSELF in the Rumble and Bryan joins the match just to counter Shane's actions. Bryan will lace up the boots again this Sunday after finally being medically cleared by WWE—but the latest speculation seems to suggest he will be kicking off his wrestling career again with a loss.

The 41-year-old recently returned along with former tag team partner Christian to guest on "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's podcast The duo, known as E&C, also appeared alongside Seth Rollins, The Dudley Boyz and The New Day in one of the funniest RAW backstage segments in recent WWE history.
